Cheese Corn Buns Recipe
Dough:
250g all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1-1/2 tsp instant dry yeast
3 tbsp butter, melted.
1 large egg
125ml warm milk
Toppings:
Sweet corn, mayonnaise, parsley, shredded cheese, as needed.
The use of cupcake paper is optional, we can just simply put the buns on a baking tray with parchment paper.
Baking temperature: 200°C
Baking time: 20 minutes
Methods:
- In a mixing bowl, mix all the dough ingredients until smooth for about 5 minutes. The dough is wet, soft, and sticky.
- Cover in the same bowl for 60 - 90 minutes. After that, put on a floured surface and shape into a ball.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and shape into balls.
- Put the small dough in the cupcake paper, optional.
- Press the dough with a spoon or the back of your fingers and add corn on top.
- Drizzle with mayonnaise and sprinkle with dried parsley and shredded cheese.
- Cover for 15 minutes while preheating your oven at 200°.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 200°C until golden brown.
- The best to serve while still warm.
- Put in a plastic bag to keep soft, at room temperature for 2 days. In the freezer for a month.
