Cheese Corn Buns Recipe

Dough:

250g all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp sugar

1-1/2 tsp instant dry yeast

3 tbsp butter, melted.

1 large egg

125ml warm milk



Toppings:

Sweet corn, mayonnaise, parsley, shredded cheese, as needed.

The use of cupcake paper is optional, we can just simply put the buns on a baking tray with parchment paper.



Baking temperature: 200°C

Baking time: 20 minutes


Methods:
  1. In a mixing bowl, mix all the dough ingredients until smooth for about 5 minutes. The dough is wet, soft, and sticky.
  2. Cover in the same bowl for 60 - 90 minutes. After that, put on a floured surface and shape into a ball.
  3. Divide the dough into 12 pieces and shape into balls.
  4. Put the small dough in the cupcake paper, optional.
  5. Press the dough with a spoon or the back of your fingers and add corn on top.
  6. Drizzle with mayonnaise and sprinkle with dried parsley and shredded cheese.
  7. Cover for 15 minutes while preheating your oven at 200°.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes at 200°C until golden brown.
  9. The best to serve while still warm.
  10. Put in a plastic bag to keep soft, at room temperature for 2 days. In the freezer for a month.
